ABOUT
Ona Sadkowsky (b. 1992, Zurich) is a contemporary artist whose work moves between autobiographical narrative, psychological symbolism and a distinctive visual language that resists clear categorization. Working across painting, photography and performative forms, her practice explores the transformation of subjective inner worlds into shared visual experiences.
Her works oscillate between the immediacy of post-pop imagery and deeper layers of existential reflection. Figures, symbols and fragmented narratives unfold in a space between subject, world and imagination, inviting the viewer into a process of visual confrontation and recognition.
Growing up in an artistic environment, Sadkowsky developed an intuitive yet analytical approach to image-making. Her works function as mirror-like structures in which personal and collective experiences intersect, forming a visual language shaped by irony, tension and emotional ambiguity.
